Our background combines project development, film financing, international partnerships and production coordination across countries.

We provide production services in France for international teams, create commissioned films for art institutions, produce artists’ films and video works, and develop documentary co-productions.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH JEAN-CHRISTOPHE RADKE

​

Our contemporary art branch is developed in partnership with Jean-Christophe Radke, combining HALLEY’s experience in film production and international co-productions with his deep knowledge of contemporary art and established professional network across the art world.

​

His background includes work with Collection Lambert, Monnaie de Paris and Villa Medici, giving him direct insight into exhibition production and technical coordination.

​

Together, we connect the requirements of film production with artists’ practices and the needs of art institutions. HALLEY oversees audiovisual production, budgets and international partnerships, while Jean-Christophe contributes his artistic knowledge, institutional relationships and expertise in technical feasibility and exhibition coordination.

PRODUCTION SERVICES IN FRANCE >

FROM LOCAL COORDINATION TO FULL LINE PRODUCTION

​

We support international producers and crews filming artists, exhibitions and collections in France. Our involvement adapts to each project, from assistance with specific arrangements to managing the entire French shoot.

​

We can act as your local point of contact: liaising with institutions, handling filming permission requests with venues and the City of Paris for exterior shoots, and arranging equipment hire through our established relationships with rental companies in Paris.

 

For projects requiring comprehensive support, we provide full line production services, covering budgeting, scheduling, crew recruitment, equipment, logistics, on-set coordination and cost tracking.

COMMISSIONED FILMS FOR ART INSTITUTIONS >

FILMS FOR MUSEUMS, GALLERIES, FOUNDATIONS AND ART CENTRES

We produce artist portraits, studio films, interviews, exhibition films and collection presentations.

Each commission is developed around the institution’s brief, programme and audiences. We shape the film’s editorial and visual approach to suit its subject and intended use, bringing the attention to direction, cinematography, sound and editing that informs our work in cinema.

We work with artists and their commissioning partners to produce films and video works.

​

We build the production around the artist’s creative process, the work’s technical requirements and its intended screening or exhibition format.

DEVELOPING AND FINANCING DOCUMENTARIES ON CONTEMPORARY ART

We develop, produce and co-produce documentaries on contemporary art, working closely with filmmakers.

We help structure financing, bring French and international production partners together, and coordinate projects from development through production and delivery.
